The Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine - with Acquisition Aesthetics
Non-surgical cosmetic rejuvenation is among the highest profitable sectors in the medical profession. Due to ageing, most would assume the 45+ generation range to be the primary group to undertake aesthetic treatments. Nonetheless, Cosmetic rejuvenation is now a growing trend with the younger Gen-Y’s or Millennials. Recent studies by a leading pharmaceutical company surveyed nearly 15,000 adults aged 35 and under worldwide. Of those surveyed, 98% have considered aesthetic improvement. 28% receive regular Botulinum Toxin procedures. These increasing figures in aesthetic treatments are encouraging medical professionals to seek further training. Why? Aesthetic treatments require additional ‘top-ups’ to preserve their longevity; usually every 3 to 4 months. The Level 7 certification is the ideal next step for Nurses, Doctors and Dentists looking to transform their career prospects through facial cosmetic rejuvenation.
What is the Level 7 Certificate?
The IQ Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine is a knowledge and competence based qualification. It is designed for various registered healthcare professionals; primarily aimed at Nurses, Doctors, and Dentists. To accommodate the qualifications principal direction, non-surgical cosmetic intervention, the certificate is formulated between two separate criteria:
The Level 7 qualification focuses on the application of Botulinum Toxin (sometimes known as Botox®), dermal fillers, and their appropriate application during medical procedures. With the previously mentioned essentials, featured courses instruct learners on relevant ethical and legal requirements, treatment principles, the necessity of client-centred care, psychology with aesthetic medicine, key principles of dermatology and the actions, risks and management options associated with Botulinum Toxin and/or dermal fillers.
Why seek accreditation?
The Level 7 Certification is predominantly aimed at Nurses, Doctors, and Dentists. Dental practitioners are among the first to consider training in cosmetic rejuvenation. The revenue generated by facial treatments surpasses that of common dental fees. Already familiar with facial aesthetics, expanding their services to include facial treatments makes it convenient for their clients. The growing Millennial market segment is looking for practitioners they can trust. Whether to encourage existing clients or to attract new customers, official accreditation is needed to build a strong reputation to deliver professional results.
Why train with Acquisition Aesthetics?
Looking back to their training experiences with us, previous delegates have said:
- HEE - Qualification requirements for the delivery of cosmetic procedures (as of November 2015)
- GMC - Guidance for doctors who offer cosmetic interventions (as of April 2016)
"I had a fantastic experience with Acquisition Aesthetics - the trainers were so knowledgeable and approachable and I felt comfortable to ask any question - no matter how small... We got a huge amount of practice compared to other training courses (I have done 2 other courses) and the training was only in a group of 3 people with one trainer so we all had so much experience...I really am indebted so thank you!"
"Very helpful and informative day with a huge number of varied cases and encouraged to participate in carrying out many different procedures - using both injectable muscle relaxant and fillers - with expert help and advice from several different medical professionals... The day was packed with information and felt as though I was kept on my toes but enjoyed it and came away feeling much more confident and up to date. Highly recommended"
