Dr. Wafaa qualified as a Doctor from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon in 2007 she completed her Foundation training and moved to Saudi Arabia where she worked in the prestigious OBAGI Hospital as a resident in Dermatology. She gained experience in Dermatology and aesthetic medicine and achieved a fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine in Dubai at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
She then moved to France where she completed two Qualifications from Paris Descartes University: The first one a Diploma in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine and the second a diploma in Medical Laser. She also completed at that time a diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physician and Surgeon in Glasgow.
In 2017, she moved to UK, received her GMC registration and has been working in the NHS as Acute Medicine Doctor and continued her higher education at King’s College London, pursuing a Master in Clinical Dermatology.
Dr. Wafaa is currently working part time in A&E , helping in the NHS. Outside of her hospital role, Dr. Wafaa has trained extensively in aesthetics, which qualified her to carry out treatments including advanced injection techniques using dermal filler and anti wrinkle injections, Platelet rich plasma therapies and fat dissolving injections and perform Cosmetic Dermatology treatment.
She has worked in several aesthetic clinics worldwide including OBAGI hospital since 2013 and is currently running her own Clinic in Reading alongside working in other well known Clinics in the UK.
Dr. Wafaa has extensive teaching experience in her current NHS role but also her passion for teaching started 10 years back when she taught Nursing student anatomy and physiology for more than 3 years.This passion to spread knowledge has lead her to pursuing this further in Aesthetic and she chose to do it with Acquisition Aesthetics.
Apart from Medicine and Aesthetics, Dr. Wafaa loves to spend quality time with her family and enjoys shopping and travelling as time permits!
