Below you can register for your Clinical Development Day –
Clinical Development Day: Aim and Outline
Delegates are invited to bring a model of their choice to complete their case studies and/logbook. Each delegate will administer toxin treatment and dermal filler from start to finish.
This day offers a unique opportunity for all delegates to observe the entire treatment process, including taking photographs, obtaining consent, applying EMLA, planning treatments, and documenting notes. Under the supervision of a trainer, delegates will see how aesthetic clinical procedures work in practice.
After the workshop, delegates are encouraged to write case studies based on the images and experiences they gathered. Delegates are then invited to present their case studies in written format, with model consent, for our website and the Aesthetics Journal.
Below are the documents/applications that you need to download prior to any training course you attend.
You can download and print a number of copies of the treatment record, or download and edit on a tablet/laptop.
When you attend any training course with Acquisition Aesthetics, you gain not only excellent and in-depth teaching, but also an opportunity to gather treatments for your procedure log book.
For your Level 7 Diploma you must complete the following:
Please note that you will be required to take all before and after treatment photos on the day on a personal phone/ iPad/ computer that has a time and date stamp application and which is encrypted for data protection. Acquisition Aesthetics will not be able to provide any before and after photographs.
All client photographs taken on the sessions must only be used for Portfolio purposes and not personal/social media/website purposes. For each client, you must take two before and two after photos. These must be clear and they must be in colour.
Introduce yourself to the patient and explain that the photos taken are for your diploma and will not be shared on Social media
Any treatment you perform must be recorded in a Patient Treatment Record. You will have to record anonymous details of the patient and record all aspects of the treatment.
DOPS: “Direct Observation of Procedural Skills” is a more in-depth and reflection associated with the treatment provided.
Any treatment, observed or otherwise must be signed by your supervising trainer on the day. Trainers are happy to sign these at the end of the practical session.
It’s a good idea to keep on top of how many learning objectives you have completed so the team can assess your requirements for your next training session.
